Description: This map data layer represents the road centerlines for Alamance County, North Carolina. The road centerline features are associated with an attribute table that contains information on street names, thoroughfare classifications, and address ranges. The mapped geographic area includes 434.7 square miles. The road centerline data layer was originally based on digital orthophotographs from 2000 and GPS . Continual updates are made daily. Most updates come from digitized plat/plan approvals or from on site verification. Spatial coordinate system is North Carolina State Plane, zone 3200, NAD83 US Feet. The data is in ESRI SDE format, but can be exported to any number of supported formats, including Shapefile and DXF.
